THE DAY IAWPA MADE HISTORY AT UNIVERSITY OF UYO, NIGERIA WITH THE SDGs MESSAGE
Shortly after the adoption of the UN SDGs on 25th Sep. 2015 by world leaders and its coming into force on January 1st 2016. The International Association of World Peace Advocates in the year 2016 hosted the first ever SDG Campus Awareness Programme at the University of Uyo where a landmark history was made by our association by hoisting the First SDG Flag in world. The University further witnessed the displays of the SDGs symbols in the office of the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. E. Essien while at the open field Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke took round the team of Professors of the Univeristy with full detailed explanation of the each of the symbol. It was interesting and indeed a history making event.
