The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has extended its warmest congratulations to Her Excellency, Oluremi "Remi" Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, on the occasion of her 65th birthday.

 

A statement signed by Amb Emmanuel Nkweke the International Spokesman of IAWPA said Remi Tinubu has been a beacon of compassion, leadership, and peace in Nigeria.

 

Through her Renewed Hope Initiative, she has made impactful strides in promoting humanitarian services, educational opportunities, healthcare support, agricultural assistance, and economic empowerment, particularly for marginalized women and children

 

Amb. Nkweke said IAWPA is proud to announce Remi Tinubu as the winner of the African Queen Mother of Peace Award.

 

This recognition according to the statement, honors her outstanding contributions to promoting peace, social justice, and empowerment in Nigeria and beyond.

Compassionate Leadership: Remi Tinubu is described as a compassionate and selfless leader. This role was also asserted by the Lagos state governor Babatunde SanwonIlu in his eulogy.

The African Queen Mother of Peace Award according to the statement will be presented to Remi Tinubu on November 25th during the observation of the United Nations International Day to End Violence against Women.
