The Government of Qatar has officially commenced the issuance of entry visas to Eminent Peace Ambassadors who have been duly registered to participate in the United Nations Second World social Development, scheduled to take place from 4th to 6th November 2025 in Doha, Qatar. This significant development marks a major step in the preparation process for the global summit, which will bring together world leaders, diplomats, peace advocates, and development experts to deliberate on strategies for advancing the United Nations Social Development.  Eminent Peace Ambassadors are therefore encouraged to complete their travel arrangements and ensure all necessary documentation is in order ahead of the high-level international event. The list of Eminent Peace Ambassadors who have been granted visas will be released shortly.  Kindly stay tuned for the official publication.

IAWPA Announced Amb. Nnenna Uzoani As Head of Election Mission in Nigeria

The International Association of World Peace Advocates IAWPA has announced Amb. Nnenna Uzoani as head of Election Mission in Nigeria.  A press statement made signed by Amb Emmanuel Nkweke the International Spokesman of IAWPA said her appointment is a testament to IAWPA's commitment to credible elections in Nigeria.  The statement said her appointment will commence from the Anambra state governorship elections stated for November 8th 2025 where IAWPA has already been given an international observation status as International observers.  IAWPA further stressed it's commitment to credible elections through proper monitoring and observations by stating that as part of its commitment to promoting credible elections and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it will deploy a team of observers to monitor the electoral process in Anambra state.  "IAWPA has appointed Amb. Gaza: Hostages reported released, aid scale-up has begun, say aid agencies

  As the UN Secretary-General on Monday welcomed the release of all living hostages from Gaza, aid agencies said that lifesaving relief supplies are now flowing at scale into the shattered enclave. António Guterres expressed his "profound relief" that the hostages had been freed, two years since they were among some 250 taken during Hamas-led terror attacks in Israel on 7 October 2023, before highlighting their "immense suffering". Bold, diverse and unstoppable: Girls speak out amid a world in crisis

  Adults were in the back seat at UN Headquarters on Friday as girls and young women from across the world took over the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Chamber to speak up for their rights in the face of conflict, climate change, and other challenges.    Alongside senior officials from the UN community, they commemorated  the International Day of the Girl Child  through declarations, dialogue and a show of solidarity for their peers in Afghanistan and elsewhere, whose voices have been silenced. Nafisa from Ghana, 16, spoke up for girls “whose dreams are shaken by crisis”, such as a friend in a nearby village who had to leave school after conflict erupted, but joined a study group to continue learning. “Her story reminds us girls are strong, girls are determined, girls never give up,” she said in a video message.
