International Association of World Peace Advocates

Abuja, Nigeria – The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), with Special Consultative Status under the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations, congratulates Anthony Placid on his appointment as the new Spokesman of the Nigeria Police Force. IAWPA notes that this appointment underscores the resolve of the Inspector General of Police to reposition the Nigeria Police Force for greater performance. We commend the IGP's efforts to enhance professionalism and accountability within the Force. For the past years, IAWPA has organized side events observing the United Nations International Day of Police Cooperation in Nigeria. This year, we wish to expand it to include West Africa . IAWPA is fully resolute to work with the Nigerian Police to promote Peace and security in the country. We believe collaboration between organizations like IAWPA and law enforcement agencies is key to fostering safer communities.

Takoradi, Ghana – The United Nations-International Association of World Peace Advocates (UN-IAWPA) has expressed gratitude to all who honoured its invitation to the UN International Day of Observance for Victims of Chemical Weapons and Warfare, held at the Takoradi Mall, Ghana. The event according to a statement signed by Apostle Amb. Isaac Odenyame, PhD. Africa Chief Outreach Officer, UN-IAWPA, highlighted the challenges faced by victims of chemical warfare and underscored the collective commitment to advocating for peace.   UN-IAWPA commends participants for their support in raising awareness about the devastating impacts of chemical weapons and promoting international cooperation to uphold human rights. The association looks forward to future collaborations to advocate for peace and justice in Ghana and beyond.

Monrovia, Liberia – The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) announces that its International Spokesman, Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke, was honoured as a Champion of Peace at an international event held in Liberia. The honour  according to a statement which was made available by its Director of Media and Publicity Amb. Nwokoma Messiah, said was presented by Queen Mother Juli Eende Guest Speaker at the event, in recognition of Amb. Nkweke’s contributions to peace and sustainable development goals in Nigeria, Africa, and globally.  Dignitaries present included Amb. Lahoucine Rahmouni, Moroccan Ambassador to Liberia, and Rev.
