IAWPA CONGRATULATES ANTHONY PLACID ON APPOINTMENT AS NEW POLICE SPOKESMAN

Abuja, Nigeria – The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), with Special Consultative Status under the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations, congratulates Anthony Placid on his appointment as the new Spokesman of the Nigeria Police Force.

IAWPA notes that this appointment underscores the resolve of the Inspector General of Police to reposition the Nigeria Police Force for greater performance. We commend the IGP's efforts to enhance professionalism and accountability within the Force.

For the past years, IAWPA has organized side events observing the United Nations International Day of Police Cooperation in Nigeria. This year, we wish to expand it to include West Africa . IAWPA is fully resolute to work with the Nigerian Police to promote Peace and security in the country. We believe collaboration between organizations like IAWPA and law enforcement agencies is key to fostering safer communities.
