FOR THE RECORD: On the 6th Feb. 2018 the International Association World Peace Advocates organised the first ever UN-SDGs (Goal 4) conference for School Principals and School Owners in Rivers State, Nigeria. The event was well attended by stakeholders in education in the state including Civil Society organisations. The House Committee Chairman on SDG, Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Friday Nke-ee and the State Chairman, Universal Basic Education all attended the conference. We recorded over 800 participants, if fact, the conference contributed to the ongoing SDG Awareness programme currently in place in Rivers State.
