IAWPA Announces Amb. Abacha As Head of Africa Peace And Conflict Committee

The International Association of World Peace Advocates. IAWPA has announced Amb. Ali Abacha as it's head of Africa Peace and Conflict Committee. 

In a press statement signed by the International Spokesman of IAWPA Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke said "It is with great pleasure that I, Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke, announce the appointment of Amb. Alhaji Ali Abacha as the Head of Africa Peace and Conflict Committee. This appointment is a testament to Amb. Abacha's tireless efforts as a strong civil rights activist and his dedication to promoting peace and the ideals of the Sustainable Development Goals". 

Amb. Nkweke said Amb Abacha will be sworn into his new position when the association observes the United Nations World Health Day in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory on Monday 7th April 2025 

The statement further said Amb Ali Abacha as one of the founding members of the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA),  has consistently demonstrated his commitment to fostering harmony and resolving conflicts across Africa. His wealth of experience and expertise will undoubtedly be invaluable in his new role.

The statement stressed that as  Head of Africa Peace and Conflict Committee, Amb. Abacha will play a pivotal role in promoting peace, understanding, and cooperation among African nations. He is expected to work closely with stakeholders, including governments, civil society organizations, and community leaders, to develop and implement initiatives that address the root causes of conflicts and promote sustainable peace.

"We are confident that under Amb. Abacha's leadership, the Africa Peace and Conflict Committee will make significant strides in promoting peace and stability across the continent'' the statement concluded
