 Amb. Dr. Francis Adekunle AdegbenroSet To Be Conferred With Prestigious Mayor of Peace Award

The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has  announced the conferment of the esteemed Mayor of Peace award on Amb. Dr. Francis Adekunle Adegbenro. 

A statement from the office of the International Spokesman Amb Emmanuel Nkweke said as the first recipient of this prestigious award this year, Amb. Dr. Adegbenro joins an elite group of individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to promoting peace and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

Amb. Dr. Francis Adekunle Adegbenro is a renowned leader known for his tireless efforts in fostering peace, development, and social justice. His dedication to promoting peaceful coexistence and sustainable development has earned him widespread recognition and admiration.

Through his work, Amb. Dr. Adegbenro has consistently promoted peace and supported the realization of the SDGs. His efforts have had a positive impact on his community, inspiring others to work towards creating a more peaceful and sustainable world.

The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the HKIC permanent site in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital. The event will be graced by the presence of Amb. Per Stafson, the World Peace President.
