United Nations International Day of Education

The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) is pleased to announce that it will be observing the United Nations International Day of Education on January 24th in Abuja, Nigeria. This day is set aside by the United Nations to promote the ideals of education as a fundamental human right and a key driver of sustainable development.

As an organization committed to promoting peace, tolerance, and sustainable development, IAWPA recognizes the critical role that education plays in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Education is a cardinal point of the SDGs, and it is essential for promoting peace, understanding, and development.

On January 24th, IAWPA will be using the occasion of the International Day of Education to promote the importance of education in achieving sustainable development. We will also be inducting new members as Eminent Peace Ambassadors, who will join our network of peace advocates working to promote peace, tolerance, and sustainable development around the world.

We invite the general public to join us as we observe this important day. Together, let us promote the ideals of education and work towards a more peaceful and sustainable world.
