Uzodinma to receive IAWPA’s Most Friendly Governor Award 2024
The International Association Of World Peace Advocates IAWPA has announced that the Executive Governor of Imo state, Sen. Hope Uzodinma will be bestowed with the SDG most friendly Governor of the year 2024 by the association.
IAWPA which is a global peace advocacy group with Special Consultative Status under the Economic and Social Council ECOSOC of the United Nations since 2019, made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory FCT of Nigeria and signed by the International Spokesman Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke.
The statement described His Excellency Sen. Hope Uzodinma as a leading role model among other governors in the country who has taken his commitment for the attainment of the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals SDG to an enviable height.
“It is with all sense of joy and commitment to the pursuit of the attainment of the United Nations initiated Sustainable Development Goals SDG that we make bold to announce that His Excellency Sen. Hope Uzodinma has for the second time, been nominated as this year’s winner of our annual award for initiating programmes and projects aimed at attaining the SDG goals. It is imperative to note that he won it two years ago and will be winning for the second time this year. His commitment to attaining the ideals of the SDG is remarkable as he has taken his commitment to enviable heights” the statement said.
The association said Sen. Uzodinma will be receiving the award from the hands of no other person but the International President of the association Amb. Per Stafsen at the Government House , Owerri on Tuesday the 30th of July 2024.
