FCT Police Command Formally Hands Over One Million To Children of Fallen Heroes of The Nigeria Police Force

The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has announced that it is pleased to have presented One Million Naira to the children of fallen heroes of the Nigeria Police Force today. 

This gesture according to Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke the International Spokesman of IAWPA said is a fulfillment of the association's promise to partner with the NPF and demonstrate it's commitment to supporting the men and women in uniform who risk their lives to keep our nation safe.

"We urge all Nigerians and organizations to join us in supporting the Nigerian Police Force. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our officers and their families. We call on individuals, corporate organizations, and well-meaning Nigerians to partner with us in this noble endeavor" the statement said 

Recall that IAWPA organized a side event to mark the International Day of Police Cooperation where it awarded the Inspector General of Police IGP Kayode Egbetokun as the most friendly SDG Inspector General of Police in Africa as well as recognizing the efforts of selected men of the force who have distinguisged themselves in service. The association also awarded scholarships to twenty children of fallen heroes of the Nigeria Police Force among others.
