IAWPA ANNOUNCES NEW LOGO AND TITLE STYLING TO REFLECT PEACE MANDATE AND GLOBAL VISIBILITY
Abuja, Nigeria— The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), through its International Spokesman, P.Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke, has announced a change of the Association’s logo and official titles to better reflect its commitment to promoting peace and to increase its visibility globally .
P.Amb. Nkweke disclosed that the decision was made after the International Management Committee met via Zoom at its 278th meeting, which was convened to position the Association for greater performance and impact.
He explained that the update which is with immediate effect, is also aimed at complying with directives of the United Nations, which require organisations with Special Consultative Status under the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to clearly emphasise the centrality of peace in their public engagements and identity.
Consequently, all Eminent Peace Ambassadors shall henceforth be identified and addressed as P.Amb whenever they are being recognised in programmes, publications, and official correspondence.
“As a foremost peace and sustainable development advocate, IAWPA is poised to comply with the expectations of the United Nations and its systems,” P.Amb. Nkweke stated. “We will continue to partner with the UN to deepen our impact in society, strengthen our advocacy for the Sustainable Development Goals, and promote a culture of peace across Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.”
The refreshed logo and harmonised titles will be progressively rolled out across IAWPA’s communications, insignia, certificates, and event branding.
